The Wedding (Italian: Il matrimonio) is the fifteenth episode of the first season, The Tiger of Malaysia from the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot

As soon as Marianne is delivered to her uncle at Labuan, the preparations for her marriage to James Brooke begin. All the most important people in Borneo are invited to the wedding. Hearing the news, Sandokan and his companions hear the news leave for Labuan at once.

Once there, they board the ship as guests, and then, cleverly disguised, enter the Governor’s palace. After setting fire to the English ships in the port, and destroying the fireworks set up for the wedding celebrations, Sandokan bursts into the church on the back of an elephant and sweeps up Marianne, sowing panic among the guests. Sandokan, Marianne, and the Tigers escape leaving the crippled English fleet behind Notwithstanding, Brooke’s ship is able to give chase.
