The Frog is the episode of the first season of the animated series, The Great Book of Nature.
Plot[]
The frog leader orders a frog to man the observation platform of a plantation and keep an eye on the weather. A sudden rainstorm could seriously damage the freshly-made bricks for the new clubhouse that have been put out to dry. The frog’s ambition is to become a member of the anti-insect squad. He looks up at the sun and the blue sky, and leaves his post convinced that the weather will not change.
Almost without warning, a violent storm then strikes the plantation; however; thanks to the timely intervention of another young frog and an old female frog, the bricks are saved. The frog admits his mistake, and vows in front of all the frogs on the plantation that from that moment on he will behave in a more responsible manner.
