The Forgiveness is the twenty-fifth episode of the animated series, The Black Corsair.

Plot[]

They remain locked up in the cage for several days and nights, with nothing to do but look at their warders, who, armed with war clubs, never let them out of their sight. Talking to a native, the Black Corsair finds out that the sea genie is a white woman, and hope is kindled in his heart. In fact, on the day appointed for the judgement, the Black Corsair sees in the distance the figure of a woman, who pointing to them proclaims them to be sacred and untouchable.

They are released, and the Corsair manages to reach the woman and confirm that she really is Honorata. Their conversation is stormy and full of sorrow... Too many dead separate them... At sunset, they go together towards the beach, and Carmaux, Van Stiller, Moko, and Leila are very worried as they look at them going away. The following morning they go and look for them, but they have then vanished. All they find on the beach is Honorata's cloak, and the Black Corsair's dagger. Leila comes running to say that she found out from a native that a canoe is missing.
