The Conspiracy (Italian: La congiura) is the twenty-fourth episode of the first season (The Tiger of Malaysia) of the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot

While Litang carries out Brooke’s orders to sink the ship carrying the Kiltar accounts to London and so destroy the only evidence that can link the Governor to the death of Sandokan’s father, a mysterious figure heads for Borneo… With his face concealed by a golden mask, Suyodhana finds an ally in Brooke, and together they hatch a plot to do away with Sandokan.

However, their clever scheme is foiled when the Tigers find out that the beggar apparently stabbed to death by Sandokan during a fight on the street is still alive. The man is a Thug who had taken a special herb to slow his heart beat, so the Tigers bring the man in front of the crowd and reveal the trick just as Sandokan is about to be executed.
