The Cells of Calbaran (Italian: Le prigioni di Calbaran) is the twentieth episode of the second season (The Tiger Roars Again) and the forty-sixth overall episode of the animated series, Sandokan.

Plot

The days roll by filled with menial day-to-day chores, and Yanez is annoyed to death, when a dispatch from Sir Moreland arrives informing everyone of Nazima’s escape, abetted by Kien Koa. The witch reaches The White Rajah’s hideout, with whom she’ll prepare to host the final battle. Sandokan and Yanez, already travelling in agreement with Sir Moreland, ask to be incarcerated in the notorious calbaran prison, and discover something is brewing… they catch word that the White Rajah wishes to gather an army of prisoners.

Nazima doesn’t waste time on her end, and by way of her magic arts, takes away Nanni’s will power and kidnaps Marianne. It doesn’t go any better in Calbaran, and in order for Sandokan to foil the White Rajah’s plans, he must fight a tough battle with the prisoners, eager to reach the White Rajah’s lines and get to his sworn enemy. Our friends’ next stop will be Devil’s Island, where Marianne is held prisoner.
